Dress Code

I once wore a pair of beach shorts and flips-flops to HRC on a packed Saturday night, back then when shorts were unheard (or rather, unsightly) of in clubs. And they weren’t even Stussy or Roxy or Billabong, just a pair that you can get at 3 for $10. I wasn’t trying to set a trend, I didn’t even want to go.

Anyway, Saturday saw me breaking my own record. Our plan was to go to the zoo and it was only on the way there that my MIL unexpectedly expressed her intention to attend a wedding after the trip. Since my MIL don’t want to go home to change first and that she didn’t mind me wearing shorts, we went ahead.

I went to a wedding in shorts, a Malay wedding held at a CC. Heh.
